This 1986 Volvo 240 Sedan is a five-speed manual example finished in white over a blue interior. It is powered by a naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine paired with a manual transmission, driving the rear wheels. The odometer displays 493,830 km.

The Volvo 240 has long been recognised for its durability, simple mechanical layout and distinctive Scandinavian design. This example presents as an honest and usable project vehicle consistent with its age and mileage.

Mechanical notes provided indicate that there is no reverse lockout on the gear stick. No further mechanical faults have been disclosed.

Cosmetically, the vehicle shows marks and scratches across the paintwork, along with a dent in the bonnet. The left-hand tail light is missing part of its lens, and the right-hand tail light is heavily faded. The driver’s seat has been replaced and is a different shade of blue to the remaining interior, due to the original seat having a collapsed frame. There is damage to the centre console, and one door strip is not chrome.

Small rust spots are present around the vehicle, as pictured. No significant structural rust has been reported.
