This 2017 McLaren 570S is an Australian-delivered, two-owner car that wears a set of new tyres. Power is derived from a mid-mounted 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 419kW and 601Nm. Drive is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The odometer of this car shows 37,052km. British supercar specialist McLaren might be best known for its efforts in Formula 1 and its iconic McLaren F1 road car, but the brand’s best work has arguably come from the last decade. Following the MP4-12C supercar, the brand quickly pivoted to the 650S and then the entry-level offering, the 570S.

The 570S introduced the brand’s ‘Sport Series’, designed to provide more day-to-day usability and features, as opposed to the track-focused performance of the ‘Super Series’. But, it was still powered by a version of the 3.8-litre V8 used in both the 650S and P1. Likewise, it was fitted with a P1-style rear end, dihedral doors, and flying buttresses. Although it is considered one of McLaren’s entry-level cars, the 570S is now a brilliant value-led purchase that offers the same supercar looks and performance expected from its more expensive flagship models. This car is painted in the sedate colour scheme of white-over-black.

It is fitted with carbon-ceramic brakes – a hallmark option from the factory – while the car also features extensive carbon-fibre trims seen around the exterior mirrors and side intakes. This treatment is mirrored inside the cabin, with carbon trims surrounding the gear selector, steering wheel, and infotainment screen. It rides on a set of 20-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres. Manufactured by McLaren in Woking, England and delivered new to Australia, this 570S has had a majority of its servicing completed at McLaren Melbourne, and more recently, Goodwood Garage – a marque specialist. The last service was performed 12 months ago, and the car currently has no faults or issues according to the owner. It is now with its second owner.

The presentation of this McLaren is brilliant and shows minimal signs of wear and tear identified on bodywork, trims, or components. The white paint appears in good condition with no noticeable fade or weathering. The dark grey trims along the side skirts and around the splitters appear unmarked. Likewise, the carbon-fibre still shines with a lacquer finish. There is no kerb rash damage on the wheels. Inside, the black leather upholstery has held up well.

There are no major scuffs identified on the dash or the door panels, while the leather appears without crease marks. Some light sagging is noted on the seat bases and bolsters. No damage is noted on the headlining and no stains are identified in the carpets or floor mats. Some wear is observed on the steering wheel. This car will come with a compendium and a single key.
