This 2015 Land Rover Defender 110 is a two-owner modern classic with consistent servicing and recent maintenance work completed. It is powered by a turbocharged 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 90kW and 360Nm. Power is fed to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. The odometer of this car shows 175,375km. The Land Rover Defender is one of the world’s famous off-road vehicles with a reputation built on steadfast reliability and go-anywhere capability. As one of Land Rover’s longest-running model lines, the Defender nameplate spans more than 70 years after first originating following Britain’s Second World War campaign. The nation was just finding its feet in agriculture and farmers required a utilitarian off-roader with simple mechanics.

The Land Rover Series was the result. It began life simply as the Land Rover Series, before being renamed in 1983 to make way for the Land Rover Classic. In 2016, Land Rover cancelled production of the “original” Defender, replaced with a new car featuring vast technological improvements and a monocoque chassis. However, the original Defender continues on as a desirable classic and is tipped to become a collector’s item in the future. Painted in classic flat green and featuring a white-painted roof, this Defender can be mistaken for nothing else. It’s the 110 variant with a lengthened wheelbase and seven seats. The owner has modified this Defender with full-length roof racks, an aluminium platform, and a Safari snorkel.

It also features Bluetooth hands-free connectivity. It rides on a set of 16-inch white steel wheels wrapped in Delmax Grip Pro all-terrain tyres. This Land Rover Defender was manufactured in Solihull, England and Australian-delivered by Concord Land Rover in NSW. It is a two-owner car after the current owner purchased it in May 2024. The owner says it has spent a majority of its life travelling between Sydney and Newcastle. Servicing began at Concord Land Rover before moving to Kismet Mechanics in Leichardt. Recent owner maintenance in August 2024 included and oil and filter change, new fuel rail sensor, new vacuum control valve, and reconditioned injectors.

A new clutch, plus master and slave cylinders were installed by Newcastle Automotive in September 2024. Externally, this Land Rover Defender presents in honest condition with some obvious wear and tear. The paint is scuffed and scratched in certain areas, though no endemic paint issues are identified. A small dent can be seen in the leading edge of the bonnet, scuffs and dent damage is seen on the left side of the front fascia near the headlight, and scuffs are noted on the right-hand side skirts. Various points of surface rust are noted around bolts and hinges, fine scratches are seen around door handles, and dents are seen underneath the chassis protection bar. The grille shows puncture marks and various instances of wear are seen on the wheels. Inside, this Defender appears with various points of wear and tear.

The owner notes scratching on the cargo area flooring and under the genuine floor mats. There is damage to the driver’s side sills and scuffs on all seat backs. Some scuffs are noted in the door panels. All accompanying documentation and books will be supplied with this car.
