This 2013 BMW S1000 RR is an Australian-delivered example of BMW’s top-tier superbike, complete with full servicing and some tidy aftermarket enhancements. It is powered by a naturally-aspirated 999cc four-stroke inline-four engine that produces 144kW (193hp) at 13,000rpm. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. The odometer of this bike displays 39,193km. BMW’s S1000 RR was born out of motorsport necessity in order for the brand to go racing in the 2009 World Superbike Championship. Just 1000 examples were made available initially, boasting unheard-of technology on a superbike such as ABS and dynamic traction control.

It also had the largest bore in its class for its 999ccc engine. But, the model was released for general commercial sale in 2010 and the model has since become a hallmark of BMW’s sports bike-building prowess. It’s undergone several updates in the years since. This 2013 example is the beneficiary of substantive updates including new throttle maps for the four different riding modes, suspension and spring-rate enhancements, subtle visual updates including a new tachometer fascia and a slimmer tail section, and a longer wheelbase. The BMW S1000 RR is still in production today.

This example does away with the classic BMW Motorrad colourway and opts for an eye-catching red-and-white colour scheme. Prominent carbon-fibre componentry features throughout. It’s been fitted with the factory BMW quick shift. The owner has upgraded the bike with an Akrapovic slip-on exhaust, Helibar handlebar risers, and heated grips. It rides on a set of 17-inch wheels wrapped in Continental ContiRoadAttack 4 tyres.

Built by BMW Motorrad and delivered new to Australia through Procycles in NSW, this S1000 RR comes with a service booklet detailing its maintenance history. The last service was completed in January 2024. Condition-wise, this S1000 RR appears in good order overall. The white-and-red colour scheme shows no obvious damage and the bike does not appear to have been dropped. Some minor scuff and stone chip marks are noted on the bike’s front screen, as expected with use.

The black seat appears in good condition without deformation. The carbon-fibre panels and componentry are polished with a reflective shine. All accompanying books and documentation with be supplied with this bike, as well as two keys. As per Trading Garage Terms and Conditions, although Trading Garage has completed the following checks bidders must satisfy themselves to the accuracy of the description and do any research they feel necessary before bidding. All listings are sold in Australian dollars.
