This 2013 BMW M6 (F12) Convertible is a one-owner car with consistent maintenance and a tidy Akrapovic exhaust system. Under its bonnet lies a twin-turbocharged 4.4-litre V8 that develops 412kW and 680Nm. This power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The odometer currently shows 96,799km. Where the BMW F10 M5 is all business in how it goes about speed, the F12-generation BMW M6 – especially in convertible guise – is anything but. It pinched the twin-turbocharged V8 engine, but wrapped it in far more attractive styling and gave owners the choice of a coupe, a convertible, or a four-door Gran Coupe body style. Naturally, its manic performance was equally matched with a luxurious interior and exquisite details.

Australian-spec BMW M6s were highly specified as standard, as detailed below. Like most BMW M vehicles, there was a motorsports counterpart to the BMW M6 – the M6 GT3 competed in GT3 competitions around the world including Australia’s own GT Championship. Now, the F12-generation BMW M6 has depreciated to a point where its incredible performance comes at an alluring price point. This BMW M6’s suave colour combination pairs metallic grey exterior paint with supple black leather upholstery inside the cabin. It comes with a black soft-top roof. Some standard options include heated and ventilated power-adjustable sports seats, illuminated kick plates, soft-close doors, internet browser, bi-LED headlights, a TV tuner, and a 3D sat nav system. This car comes with no additional modifications aside from am Akrapovic exhaust system.

It rides on its original set of 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres. Manufactured by BMW in Munich, Germany in October 2012 and delivered new to Australia, this BMW has been owned by just one person since new. The car was delivered via Doncaster BMW in March 2013 and servicing for the first five years was completed there. Since then, all maintenance was performed at BM Autowerks in Oakleigh, VIC. This outfit also fitted an Akrapovic exhaust system in 2016. There are no known issues with the car apart from a fault with the driver’s door keyless entry. This will be rectified prior to sale.

The exterior condition of this M6 is great for its age. The metallic grey paint shows in very good order throughout, particularly in the sunlight, and no dents or bumps are noted on the panels. Some smaller points of stone chipping are seen on the bonnet and front bar, and also behind the driver’s door handle on the rear quarter. Light scuffing is noted underside the front splitter. No damage is identified on the soft-top roof. There is some minor kerb rash on the two front wheels. Inside, this BMW has been well preserved by its single owner.

No obvious deformation is seen on the two front seats, while the leather has not creased with use. The driver’s seat bolstering appears to have worn somewhat – this is considered consistent with the car’s age. Light marks are noted around the centre console/arm rest in front and back seats. All carpets and floor mats are clean and without major scuffs. No damage is seen on the dashboard or centre stack. This car will come with all original documentation, service invoices, two keys, and a wind deflector. If sold in Victoria, the vehicle will be sold with a RWC.
