This 2013 BMW M3 Competition (E92) is a late-build, one-owner example which has been serviced regularly since new and features no aftermarket modifications. Under the bonnet is a naturally-aspirated 4.0-litre V8 engine which develops 309kW and 400Nm. This power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The odometer in this car currently shows 140,342km. It's now been a decade since production of the E92 M3 ended and the model is now cemented in automotive history as an automotive icon. Free from technical interference, featuring a powerful naturally-aspirated V8, and possessing some of the most balanced handling qualities ever seen in a sports car, the E92 M3 is heralded as the last bastion of purist driving. While its lineage is built on the basis of motorsport homologation, the E92 generation came to represent so much more and truly epitomises BMW’s “Ultimate Driving Machine” tagline.

Not only does it continue as a serious track-day performance car when needed, but the model features all manner of equipment and comforts to make sure the Monday-Friday commute is just as enjoyable. Competition examples such as this one are sought after due to their lowered ride height, tweaked dampers, and relaxed stability control system. This example is painted Mineral White and features a black leather-upholstered cabin for a look sure to be appreciated by all. The roof is finished in lacquered carbon fibre and the car features the subtle M3 spoiler lip. There are no aftermarket modifications made to this car and it retains its original colour scheme. It sits on a set of factory 19-inch Competition alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres. Ordered new by the current owner and manufactured by BMW in Munich, Germany, this M3 was delivered by BMW Rushcutters Bay in July 2013.

Considering it’s a one-owner car the history is well-documented. Servicing was initially completed by official dealerships before the owner had it repaired at independents like Chris & Sons mechanics in Carlton, NSW. The most recent service was completed in February 2023. There are no current mechanical issues or faults, according to the owner. Exterior condition is presented to a fair standard overall, however some points of accident damage are seen on this M3. The Mineral White paintwork appears without noticeable blemishing or imperfection, while the carbon-fibre roof lacquer is unmarked. There is a sizeable scrape on the driver’s side of the front bar and scuff damage is identified on the opposite lower left side.

The underside of the front bumper shows obvious scratch damage. Elsewhere, a scratch appears near the driver’s-side door handle and on both side mirrors. Significant kerb rash is seen on the wheels, though decent tread appears on the tyres. Inside the cabin this M3 has been better preserved. The black leather upholstery shows minimal crease marks or scuffing, while no fraying or stains are seen on the carpeting. Likewise, dash components and door cards have been kept in good order since new. Subtle repeated use marks are seen around the start button which is a common E9X issue.

This car will come with all accompanying documentation and service records, plus two keys. As per Trading Garage’s Terms and Conditions, although Trading Garage have completed the following checks, bidders must satisfy themselves to the accuracy of the description and do any research, they feel necessary before bidding. All listings are sold in Australian dollars. This vehicle is currently registered in NSW until 4/8/23. There are no security interests registered on the PPSR against the serial number and it is not recorded as written off or stolen.
