This 2012 Maserati Quattroporte is a stately example of Maserati’s pre-eminent super saloon, with only two owners since new and a full Maserati service history. Under the bonnet sits a naturally-aspirated 4.2-litre V8 engine which develops 295kW and 460Nm. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission. The odometer of this car currently states 37,537 kilometres. Dressed in suave Pininfarina styling and stocked with a thunderous V8-powered engine, the Maserati Quattroporte is the ultimate Italian super sedan. The fifth-generation Quattroporte design was unveiled in 2003 with sights set on esteemed German luxury rivals such as the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and Audi A8.

However, the key difference with the Maserati Quattroporte is its inspired emotional element, exhibited through a loud and sonorous V8 engine and a beautifully-appointed cabin. The Ferrari-derived V8 really elevated the Quattroporte’s character, while continuous improvements to ride and handling throughout the car’s life ensured the later examples are the best to buy. These days well maintained Quattroporte examples are a distinguished user-car purchase, considering the relative value for money. Presented in Grigio Nuvolari over a cream leather interior, this sophisticated colour combination suits the Maserati Quattroporte shape. The interior is highlighted by walnut woodgrain trim, while elements of the exterior show subtle chrome trim. The seller states this vehicle is unmodified and retains its original as-delivered colour specification.

The car rides on a set of 19-inch silver alloy wheels which hide a set of silver brake calipers. The wheels are wrapped in Continental ContiSportContact tyres. Manufactured by Maserati in Modena, Italy, this Quattroporte was delivered through Zagame Maserati in Melbourne. The car is a one-owner example and its servicing has always been completed by Zagame Maserati. The most recent service took place less than 4,000km ago in September 2022. No ongoing issues are present in this car and it runs in fine condition, according to the seller.

This car’s exterior presentation remains at a high standard, as evidenced through photos. The Grigio Nuvolari paintwork glistens in the sunlight without noticeable swirl marks or imperfections, while no body damage is present on panels. Chrome finishing such as the door handles and boot lip is polished to a high shine. Some kerb rash is noted on the alloy wheels. Inside the cabin this Quattroporte is well-presented with clean leather upholstery and unstained carpeting. The seats show no undue creases or cracks, and no colour transfer is seen on the fabric.

Some light marks are seen on the centre console bin lid and on the driver’s side sill plate. This car does not show any sticky buttons, a phenomenon common in Italian exotic cars. The door cards, dashboard, and instrumentation all show in fine condition without major wear and tear, while the headlining fabric is unmarked. This car will be sold with all accompanying documentation including original booklets and a spare key.
