This 2012 Maserati GranTurismo S is a gorgeous example of Maserati’s preeminent grand tourer, complete with a service history. Under its bonnet sits a naturally aspirated 4.7-litre, Ferrari-derived V8 engine which sends 324kW/490Nm to the rear wheels. This car features a six-speed automatic transmission. The odometer currently shows 62,713km. Designed by Pininfarina and powered by a Ferrari engine, the Maserati GranTurismo is one of the most desirable modern grand tourers on the used market. Unheard of for a modern-era production car, the Maserati GranTurismo went from the initial design phase to production-ready in just nine months.

It was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2007. However, it would go on to be built by Maserati for a further 12 years, getting incremental updates to perfect the formula over time. A great value equation is presented by the GranTurismo S MC Sport Line specification that pairs a glorious 4.7-litre V8 with race car-inspired carbon-fibre extras. The Maserati GranTurismo S continues to be one of the best sounding cars in the modern era and depreciated examples present a great buying opportunity. Painted in Grigio Nuvolari and featuring a black leather-clad cabin, this late-build pre-facelift car continues to turn heads for all the right reasons.

It is an unmodified example but specifies MC Sport Line goodies such as carbon-fibre interior trim, stiffer springs, and a lower ride height compared to the original. The interior upholstery is highlighted by white contrast stitching. It rides on a set of 20-inch “Trident” alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tyres. This Maserati GranTurismo S is an Australian-delivered vehicle which was sold by Zagame Maserati in Victoria. The previous owner purchased the vehicle from Zagame in 2012 when the car had 9,000km on the odometer. A majority of servicing has been completed by Zagame Maserati, though recent maintenance (including brake pads and new spark plugs) was completed by Euroclass in Melbourne.

The current owner purchased the vehicle in April 2024 and had a complete service in December 2024 replacing engine oil and filters. Exterior presentation is great and the owner assures there is no accident damage on this example. The Grigio paintwork shows beautiful reflections across bodywork and no swirl marks or scratches are seen in the finish. The underside of the front bar displays significant scrape damage. Paint chips are seen on the edge of the passenger door. Some light kerb rash is seen on some wheels.

Inside the cabin this car continues to present well. The black leather upholstery shows no stains or scuffing and the seats retain their original shapes. Some light scuffs are noted on the seat backs and light scratches are seen around the window controls. A nick in the passenger side door panel leather is shown. The carpeting and headlining are in good condition. All accompanying documentation and one key will be supplied with this car.
