This 2011 McLaren MP4-12C is an Australian delivered, unmodified example that boasts a complete McLaren factory service history. It’s powered a 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine that generates 441kW/600Nm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via McLaren’s seven-speed dual-clutch transmission which helps send this supercar from zero to 100km/h in 2.8 seconds. This car’s odometer shows 27,509km from new.

The 2011 MP4-12C supercar marked the return of the famous McLaren brand, this time focusing on road car production. It’s the first car designed and built wholly by McLaren itself, after joint projects saw McLaren team up with BMW for the legendary McLaren F1, and Mercedes-Benz for the SLR hyper-GT. McLaren was ahead of the curve by using turbocharged power for its MP4-12C, while rivals of the time such as the Ferrari 458 and Lamborghini Gallardo still relied on naturally-aspirated engines. This McLaren MP4-12C is a well-specified car that wears special Titanium Silver paint outside with a two-tone black/grey leather interior. A number of valuable options were selected from new including a Meridian surround sound system, sports exhaust, parking sensors, carbon fibre exterior accents and heated electric seats.

It’s a three-owner example that was built in November 2011 and sold new through McLaren Melbourne – the dealership that subsequently handled servicing and all other correspondence through to the current owner that has had McLaren Brisbane handle its servicing. As shown through the photos, this is a very well kept car. The Titanium Silver paint is in great condition save for one large stone chip on the front bumper and two minor marks along the driver’s side rear quarter panel. It features a set of staggered Stealth grey wheels, 19-inch up front and 20-inch at the rear. All four tyres are brand-new Pirelli P Zeros.

Elsewhere, this MP4-12C has a carbon fibre front splitter, carbon rear diffuser, carbon side intake and orange brake callipers. Carbon Black heated leather seats with Slate Grey inserts are found in the interior, both of which are in good condition showing minimal signs of wear. This car also has carbon fibre sill panels and the custom zoned interior with black leather dash. The original MP4-12C floor mats remain in excellent condition. All servicing for this car has been done through McLaren dealerships.

This MP4-12C will be sold with the full McLaren tool kit, puncture repair kit and all service books and manuals.
