This 2009 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster is an Australian delivered example finished in a striking combination of Emerald Green over Absynthe Green leather. Under the bonnet lies a naturally-aspirated 4.7-litre V8 engine which produces 313kW and 470Nm. This power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission. The odometer currently displays 102,353km. With drop-dead gorgeous styling by Henrik Fisker, and a bellowing V8 engine under its bonnet, it’s little wonder that the Aston Martin V8 Vantage has become one of the British marque’s most recognisable models. It was designed to sit below the flagship DB9 as a more affordable, sportier alternative, but the V8 Vantage has earned considerable acclaim all on its own.

Aimed squarely at rivals such as the Porsche 911, the V8 Vantage arguably offers more style and certainly a better, V8-powered soundtrack. In 2008 Aston Martin applied a significant update which increased the displacement of the V8 engine, subtly revised the styling, and fine-tuned the transmission. It also received stiffer Bilstein dampers. Roadster body styles are particularly favoured for their stylish drop-top designs, though all V8 Vantages are quickly becoming modern classics. Painted in Emerald Green and sporting a black soft-top roof, this Aston’s specification harks back to the classic British Racing Green colourway which has become synonymous with the brand. The interior is a lighter Absynthe shade of green and is finished with nappa leather upholstery.

No aftermarket modifications are made to this car’s original condition. The car sits on a set of 19-inch Aston Martin alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tyres. This car was hand-built in Gaydon, England and complied in Australia in February 2009. It was delivered new through Trivett Aston Martin in Melbourne. It is now a four-owner car which has been serviced between Aston Martin dealerships and independents. The current owner purchased the vehicle in November 2021 and has had it serviced twice at Euro Precision in Maitland, NSW.

It is described as being in excellent mechanical condition. Exterior presentation of this Vantage Roadster shows to a good standard overall. The Emerald Green paintwork shows in decent condition but could be improved with a thorough detail and polish. Consistent scrape damage can be seen on the underside of the front splitter, scrape marks are observed under the rear number plate, and scratch damage is seen on the right-hand side of the rear bumper. The soft-top roof pulls taut and shows in good order. Kerb rash damage is seen around the wheels, though the Michelin tyres appear to retain deep tread.

Inside the cabin this car appears in fair condition. The green leather upholstery shows no major marks of splitting or tears, though some finer marks are seen on areas such as the rear seats and underside the dash. Seats hold a good shape overall but minor crease marks are identified on the seat bases, and discolouration appears on the driver’s side bolsters. Leather warping and scuff marks are seen on the dashboard. Carpeting shows in clean, unstained condition. This car will come with a suite of original documentation and a single key.
