This 2007 BMW (E92) M3 Coupe is a two-owner example, complete with recent maintenance and the all-important manual gearbox option. It is powered by a naturally-aspirated 4.0-litre ‘S65’ V8 engine which develops 309kW and 400Nm. This power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. The odometer of this car currently displays 190,973km. The BMW M3 is arguably one of the automotive world’s most recognisable sports cars, epitomising the brand’s “Ultimate Driving Machine” then-tagline. The M3 nameplate was born out of motorsports success throughout the late 1980s, but the modern E92 M3 combines equal parts luxury and performance into a handsome coupe body.

The E92 was the last BMW M3 to feature a naturally-aspirated engine – a 4.0-litre V8 capable of propelling the M3 from zero to 100km/h in 4.8 seconds. While BMW’s innovative dual-clutch transmission made its debut on the E92, enthusiasts tend to prefer traditional six-speed manual examples for their notchy shift feel. In period, the BMW E92 M3 competed against Audi’s RS4 and Mercedes-Benz’s C63 AMG. However, neither achieved such critical acclaim as the BMW M3, renowned worldwide for its decisive handling profile and sonorous V8 engine.

Finished in Silverstone metallic and paired with a black leather interior, this M3’s colour profile is quintessential E92 M3 and is sure to find wide appeal. The car is largely original aside from an Apple CarPlay head unit (including reversing camera) fitted within the factory BMW infotainment unit. From new, the car was optioned with a sunroof, premium sound system, rear sunblind, and window tinting. The car rides on a set of original 19-inch M alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres. This M3 was manufactured in Munich, Germany and delivered new through Bruce Lynton BMW in October 2007. It is now a two-owner car after the current owner took delivery in August 2021.

The current owner states the car comes with a full service history, performed primarily through Motorline BMW. The rod bearings were replaced by SVS Autocare at 175,000km. The last major service was approximately 500km ago at 190,000km. Some issues were raised at the last service including leaks from the power steering reservoir cap and the rocker covers. On the outside, this M3 appears to be well taken care of. The metallic paint continues to flake nicely in the sunlight and strong reflections are seen in the finish.

No swirl marks or fading is obvious. The seller notes stone chipping on the front end, as well as a chip under the left-side mirror. There is significant scrape damage seen on the underside of the front bumper. Elements such as the badging and exhaust show some fading. Subtle kerb rash damage is noted on the left-side wheels. Inside the cabin, this car presents well, though some marks of wear and tear are obvious.

The steering wheel leather shows sun damage, the driver’s seat displays crease marks and sagging, and the leather shift knob is worn. The leather upholstery appears without scuffs and the carpeting shows no major stains. This car will come with original documentation, two keys, and a full set of new brakes (incl. rotors, pads, and sensors). It will not come with the personalised number plates. As per Trading Garage Terms and Conditions, although Trading Garage has completed the following checks, bidders must satisfy themselves with the accuracy of the description and do any research they feel necessary before bidding.
