This 2006 HSV Coupe GTO Limited Edition (VZ) is #10 of 100 built of an Australian icon. It is unmodified, exhibits no damage, and is mechanically sound. Under its bonnet sits a naturally-aspirated 6.0-litre LS2 V8 engine that produces 297kW (398hp). This power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. The car’s odometer currently states 86,342km. When Holden built a modern-day reinterpretation of the Monaro classic, HSV couldn’t help but try its hand at a high-performance version. As is normal for the HSV range, the Coupe’s body was built at the Holden plant in Elizabeth, South Australia, and then transported and upgraded at HSV’s Clayton facility.

What resulted was the HSV Coupe, which was initially offered in GTO and GTS variants differentiated by their engine and exterior design. Subsequent model years saw the GTS replaced with the all-wheel-drive Coupe4 version, while the GTO received special editions such as this Limited Edition variant. Just 100 cars were produced overall, including 50 units in black. Intended as a grand tourer with muscle car performance, the HSV Coupe is now renowned as the must-have HSV and is appreciated as a locally-built modern classic. This HSV Coupe GTO LE is a late-build example finished in Phantom Black with silver stripes. It is one of just 50 produced in this colour scheme. Inside the cabin, the car features saddle tan upholstery.

The owner states there are no aftermarket modifications made to this car and it retains its as-delivered colour combination. It sits on a set of 19-inch HSV alloy wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle GT tyres. Manufactured by HSV on the 27 March, 2006 and delivered new by City Motors Holden, this Limited Edition comes with documentation to substantiate its history. It is number 10 of 100 total. The car has had three owners overall, with the seller owning the vehicle since 2021. It is described as being in brilliant mechanical condition and was most recently serviced six months ago. Externally, this Coupe GTO presents in good order.

There are no obvious swirl marks or hologram imperfections in the Phantom Black paintwork, while the bold contrast silver stripes appear without scratches. Fair stone chips appear on the front end, including areas such as the bonnet, grille and front bumper, while subtler chips are noted on the side skirts. Badging and light lenses show no obvious wear or tear. Very fine kerb rash is identified on the outer rims of some wheels. Inside the cabin, this car appears to have been kept in good stead. The heavily bolstered front seats display without major sagging or crease marks, while the leather itself appears in decent order. Some light discolouration and fine scratch marks are seen on the seat inserts.

Normal wear and tear scratches display around the side sills and lower seat plastics. The centre console plastics and switchgear display in good condition. Carpeting and headlining show no signs of stains or scuffs. This car will come with all accompanying documentation including its original owner’s handbook. The number plate is included in the sale. As per Trading Garage Terms and Conditions, although Trading Garage has completed the following checks bidders must satisfy themselves to the accuracy of the description and do any research they feel necessary before bidding. All listings are sold in Australian dollars.
