This 2005 Ferrari F430 Spider is a Ferrari Approved, three-owner example that comes a thorough service history and recent maintenance. It is powered by a mid-engined, naturally-aspirated 4.3-litre V8 that develops 360kW and 465Nm. This car is specified with a six-speed ‘F1’ automated manual gearbox. The odometer currently shows 44,870 km. The Ferrari F430 was a major revision of the earlier Ferrari 360 Modena. Most obvious changes were the new front and rear fascias, but lesser-known are the style points that the F430 borrowed from the Ferrari Enzo hypercar. The tail-lights were copied over and the engine cover’s venting is a match for the Enzo’s.

As such, the F430 is often referred to as the “baby Enzo”. Inside, the F430 introduced an overhauled interior with a new Manettino switch and updated design. In terms of its powertrain, the F430 was all-new compared to its 360 predecessor. The mid-mounted 4.3-litre beating heart featured a flat-plane crankshaft and the variable valve timing system from the Ferrari Enzo. A great deal of the Ferrari F430’s engineering and development was garnered from Ferrari’s F1 efforts – a fact that’s referenced with specific plaques inside the cabin. This Ferrari F430 features the quintessential Ferrari colour combination: Rossa Corsa exterior paint over a tan leather interior.

The specification features a black soft-top roof. There are no major modifications, though the owner notes it’s fitted with a Ferrari Genuine exhaust system that invokes an F1-style note. It also rides on a set of 19-inch ‘Challenge’ wheels painted in gloss black. These are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres. Manufactured new in Maranello, Italy and delivered new to Australia, this Ferrari is now a three-owner car, according to the seller. He purchased the vehicle roughly four years ago. The car has Ferrari Approved status meaning it meets Ferrari’s discerning used-vehicle standards.

Servicing has been completed through the official dealer network and specialist independents. The most recent maintenance was completed at Ferrari Gold Coast in July 2024. A new battery was fitted in December 2023. Visually, this F430 appears in great condition. The Rosso Corsa paintwork shows with no major scratching or dent damage, while the intakes, headlights, and front bar are free from stone chips. However, the paint quality could be improved with a detail and polish as light swirl marks are seen. The soft-top roof was replaced in 2022, though shows some slight sag and scuff marks.

No scratch damage or kerb rash can be seen on the black wheels. This F430 has been kept in clean condition inside the cabin. The tan leather appears without tears, only showing some slight wear and tear on the driver’s seat bolsters. The common sticky button phenomenon does not appear to be a problem on this car. Interior carpeting shows no scuffs or stains, and the carbon fibre trims appears in good order. This car will come with a genuine Ferrari car cover, Ferrari tool kit, two keys, and all books and pouches. As per Trading Garage Terms and Conditions, although Trading Garage has completed the following checks, bidders must satisfy themselves to the accuracy of the description and do any research they feel necessary before bidding.
