This 2004 Maserati 4200 GT is a classic modern Maserati coupe that pairs Ferrari-derived V8 performance with elegant Pininfarina design. Finished in factory silver paintwork over a tan interior, it shows 57,418 kilometres indicated and is powered by the naturally aspirated 4.2-litre V8 paired with the Cambiocorsa automated manual transmission. It represents a pivotal model in Maserati’s early-2000s revival.

Introduced in the early 2000s, the 4200 GT combined elegant Pininfarina styling with a high revving V8 that delivered both performance and character in a true grand touring package. With its long bonnet, flowing roofline and distinctive Maserati soundtrack, the 4200 GT has become increasingly appreciated as one of the brand’s more analogue modern era offerings.

This example was originally delivered in the United Kingdom and imported to Australia in 2012. Prior to the current owner, it is understood the car had two previous owners, one in the UK and one in Australia. The current owner has owned the car since July 2025, making this a three owner car in total.

Service history shows the car has been maintained by Maserati and Ferrari specialists both overseas and in Victoria. The two most recent services were completed at Garage 99 in Victoria, a recognised Maserati 4200 and Ferrari 360 specialist, where a full service and a range of corrective works were carried out to bring the car up to standard. All original books are present.

Significant maintenance includes a clutch replacement at approximately 45,000 kilometres, with the clutch wear reading currently showing around 5 percent. At approximately 56,000 kilometres, the F1 hydraulic system was inspected and repaired, including work to the accumulator, gear selector and solenoids. The system is now reported to hold pressure correctly with no loss. Suspension ball joints were also replaced at this time.

Mechanically, the car is reported to be in good order, with no warning lights, faults or operational issues noted.

The exterior presents well overall, with cosmetic imperfections consistent with age and use. Marks are noted on the front bumper, along with a few stone chips on the bonnet. The alloy wheels show kerb rash, and a small cosmetic blemish is present near the rear windscreen. The infotainment unit displays sticky buttons, a known issue on these cars, while other interior switchgear has been refurbished.

Inside, the tan leather interior presents well for its age. A small tear is noted on the driver’s seat bolster, and the headliner shows slight sagging. Seats, carpets and trim otherwise present in keeping with the car’s mileage and use.

The car has no aftermarket modifications fitted.

There is no known accident history, though given the age of the vehicle, it is expected that some panels may have been repainted at some point in its life. The Maserati is supplied with a comprehensive set of books, receipts, tools and original accessories. One key is included.
