This 2004 Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale is presented with a thorough, verified service history, extensive original documentation, and it sports a distinct one-of-a-kind specification. A mid-mounted naturally-aspirated 3.6-litre V8 engine outputs 313kW/373Nm to the rear wheels. The transmission is a six-speed ‘F1’ automated manual which features paddle shifters. The odometer of this car displays 24,562km. Designed to bring Ferrari into the new millennium, the 360 Modena used an all-new aluminium space-frame chassis (40% stiffer than the F355) draped in newfound curvy styling from Pininfarina. The 360 Modena was the first variation, followed shortly by the 360 Spider and then 360 Challenge Stradale.

The 360 Challenge Stradale is the road-going track car version which specifies a more powerful V8 engine, carbon ceramic brakes, reduced weight, stiffer suspension, new sports exhaust and revised gearbox. The 360 Challenge Stradale is one of the most desirable modern Ferraris and the exhaust note in particular is one of its greatest attributes. Total production numbers are still debated, but consensus states roughly 1200 examples were manufactured and only 119 were RHD. Around eight cars made their way to Australia from new. Painted in the rare Grigio Alloy, this 360 CS is one of three that left Ferrari’s Maranello factory from new. It’s upholstered with tan leather and black Alcantara, while carbon elements are seen inside the cabin.

The exterior also features carbon features, and this car does without the standard Challenge Stradale tricolour stripe. The car rides on a set of correct 19-inch BBS ‘Challenge’ alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tyres. This car was manufactured new in Maranello, Italy and delivered originally to Singapore in June 2004. After relocating to the UK, the owner imported the car with CARS International for personal use. It was then sold to Amari Supercars and sat in storage for some time. Although the Singapore service history is light, during its time in the UK the car received a well documented mechanical overhaul with Leeds Ferrari, whereby it earned Ferrari’s Premium Certificate (for being kept in Ferrari’s recommended condition).

The most recent service after this restorative work was completed by Leeds Ferrari in August 2022. Though it will be sold without registration, the car comes with an engineering certificate and an ADR compliance plate for registration. Exterior condition is in excellent order and considered care has been taken in the preservation of this special car. Grigio Alloy paintwork displays without obvious points of imperfection and the finish retains a beautiful shine under sunlight. The black grille portions, rear diffuser, and carbon fibre elements all show in immaculate condition. The owner notes some wear on the engine bay Perspex.

No damage is seen on any of the four alloy wheels, while Pirelli tyres retain deep tread. The interior also shows without notable wear and tear. The tan leather upholstery shows no creasing or sagging and bucket seats keep a good shape from new. Some wear and tear is noted on Alcantara aspects such as the hand brake boot, the dash top, and around the transmission tunnel. The typical “sticky button” phenomenon is seen around the reverse button and window switches. Carbon fibre door cards show next to do damage or scuffing.

The leather strap to hold luggage has detached inside the front boot. This car will come with accompanying documentation, car cover, tool kit, trickle charger, and an original key.
