This 2001 Nissan Skyline (R34) GT-R V-Spec II is one of the hottest prospects on the used car market and this white example has been owned by just two people since new. Under the bonnet sits a twin-turbocharged 2.6-litre inline-six-cylinder engine which outputs 206kW (276hp) when new – however this car features extensive modification, boosting the power to approx. 400kW (536hp). It also comes with a six-speed manual transmission that drives all four wheels. The odometer of this car states 85,683km. The Nissan Skyline GT-R is widely held as one of the all-time greatest JDM sports cars from the halcyon days of Japanese tuning.

After the R32 GT-R dominated the local racing scene in the Australian Touring Car Championship, Australians had little exposure to the R34 GT-R because it was not sold locally. However, prominent features in video games, cinema, and in underground racing circles have cemented the R34’s status as a legendary classic Down Under. Several versions of the R34 were available, this car being the desirable V-Spec II car which features stiffer suspension, carbon-fibre bonnet with NACA duct, aluminium pedals, and clear turning indicators. The R34 GT-R has become one of the most desirable JDM cars in the world with values still climbing today. With a clean white paintjob and black leather-and-suede upholstery, this R34 GT-R presents a ripe opportunity for further personalisation. Other additions to this car include xenon headlights, a titanium exhaust, stovetop tail lights, and a Kenwood infotainment unit.

The full list of aftermarket modifications can be provided upon request. This car rides on a set of 19-inch Rays Volk Racing CE28 wheels painted bronze, with gold Brembo brake calipers underneath. Tyres are Michelin Pilot Super Sports. This car was manufactured by Nissan in Japan and was delivered new within its home market. It is now said to be a two-owner car after the current owner imported the car from Japan roughly two years ago. It only gets out on the odd weekend and for special events – otherwise this GT-R is rarely driven.

Maintenance has been performed by KTN Mechanics, with the last service taking place in September 2023. According to the owner there are no faults or issues with the car. Exterior-wise, this R34 GT-R is presented to a high standard overall and no obvious points of damage are seen. The white paintwork has been resprayed at some point in its life with clean reflections in the light. Some paint is flaking from a wiper arm, while various fine scratches are seen around black trim. Wheels show without major kerb rash damage, though one small chip is seen.

Inside, cabin presentation is clean throughout. The black seats hold a good original shape and the stitching shows in good order. Fine marks of scuffing are seen around the leather steering wheel, as expected with use. Subtle wear and tear is noted around the centre console and dash; the owner notes a dent in the driver’s side arm rest and the passenger’s dash has a small scratch. Carpeting shows without scuffing or stains. All accompanying documentation will be supplied with this car.
