This 2000 Porsche Boxster S (986) is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a blue leather interior and is equipped with a six speed manual transmission. Power comes from Porsche’s 3.2 litre naturally aspirated flat six, and the odometer currently indicates 202,042 kilometres. As the higher performance variant of the first generation Boxster, the S combined balanced mid engine dynamics with increased power and braking over the standard model.

Introduced in the late 1990s, the Boxster marked a turning point for Porsche, re establishing the brand with a modern, lightweight sports car that prioritised driver engagement. The Boxster S added a larger displacement engine, six speed manual gearbox and uprated brakes, creating one of the most rewarding open top sports cars of its era. This example has had just one previous owner, with the current owner being the second custodian. It has been owned since 2002, when it was purchased through a Porsche dealer as an authorised Porsche Approved used vehicle. The car has remained under long term ownership since that time.

Servicing has been carried out by Chellingworth Porsche previously and more recently by KTEC Autohaus in Osborne Park. The original service books are present. The most recent service was completed in November. Around five years ago, the car had the IMS bearing and rear main seal replaced, addressing two of the most important long term maintenance considerations for the model.

Mechanically, the car is described as driving well overall. The airbag warning light is currently illuminated due to a clock spring that requires replacement. One of the remote key fobs no longer unlocks the vehicle and will require replacement. Aside from these items, no other recurring faults or warning lights are noted.

The exterior presents well for its age. A paint correction has been carried out, with swirl marks largely removed, and the overall finish is described as very good given the mileage. The front bumper has been resprayed previously to address stone chips, and the driver’s door has also been resprayed. Panel fit and overall presentation remain consistent.

Inside, the cabin presents honestly. The driver’s seat shows signs of wear consistent with use, while the passenger seat remains in very good condition. All electronics and interior functions operate as intended. An Alcantara steering wheel cover is fitted, with the original steering wheel underneath described as being in excellent condition.

The Boxster S is supplied with its tool kit, spare wheel, security lock nut, spare key, service books and owner’s manuals.

This vehicle is currently registered in Western Australia until 25th May 2026. A PPSR search has been conducted and confirms no security interests are recorded and the vehicle has not been listed as written off or stolen.
