The car was supplied new through Mercedes-Benz of Sydney and first registered in January 1996. The original service book was replaced by DaimlerChrysler Australia on 24 February 2005 at 87,360km. The replacement book contains entries transcribed from the original, covering the initial inspection at 5,369km in January 1997 through to the 90,000km service carried out by Central Star Automotive of Bowen Hills, Queensland in April 2005 at 93,288km, with all earlier services completed by Mercedes-Benz of Sydney.
