This 1995 HSV VR Clubsport Wagon is a long-term owned, extensively refreshed example finished in factory Genesis Blue. It is powered by Holden’s 5.0-litre V8 paired with an automatic transmission, and the odometer displays 197,591 kilometres.

The VR-series Clubsport Wagon sits among the most distinctive vehicles produced by Holden Special Vehicles during the 1990s. Combining Holden’s 5.0-litre V8 with HSV’s suspension, braking and styling upgrades, the Clubsport Wagon delivered genuine performance in a practical body style at a time when V8 wagons were still part of Australian motoring culture. Today, these models are increasingly scarce and are recognised as an important part of HSV’s early history.

This example is understood to be a three-owner car, with the current owner having held it for the past 17 years. Throughout this period it has been regularly maintained and improved, with servicing carried out by independent specialist Fondy’s Automotive. The original service books are included.

Significant mechanical work has been completed over time. This includes repairs to the instrument cluster LEDs, a new radiator and water pump, a reconditioned gearbox, and a rebuilt differential. The braking system has been upgraded with braided brake lines, DBA Clubspec T3 4000-series rotors, new pads, and a VT-spec master cylinder and brake booster. The engine has received major internal work, including a new timing chain, new big-end bearings, and new main bearings. Front wheel hubs have also been replaced.

Mechanically, the vehicle is reported to be in excellent order, with no known faults, warning lights, or issues requiring attention.

Externally, the Clubsport Wagon presents well. It was resprayed approximately 10 years ago in its original Genesis Blue. A small number of stone chips are visible on the front bumper, as shown in the photographs, along with a very minor dimple on the right-hand door approximately the size of a match head. Otherwise, the bodywork appears straight and tidy.

The interior has been comprehensively refurbished in a period-correct manner, with new seats, carpet, door cards, and roof lining fitted. As a result, the cabin presents in excellent condition for its age. The radio is currently inoperative due to the absence of the CD stacker.

Upgrades include Pacemaker extractors, new Pedders suspension, upgraded sway bars, and wheels sourced from a VP Senator.

The vehicle will be supplied with two keys (noting wear to the rubber), original service booklets and documentation, spare wheel and jack, and the original tool kit.
