This 1993 Audi 100 is a completely original example of an Audi executive sedan which was delivered new to Australia. It is powered by a naturally-aspirated 2.8-litre V6 engine that develops 128kW and 245Nm. This engine is paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. The odometer of this car currently shows 88,038km. The Audi 100 was a long-running executive-level car built by the German marque between 1968 and 1997. Ostensibly, it’s the mid-size sedan that eventually went on to become the modern-day Audi A6. There are four iterations of the Audi 100,.

However, distinguishing between variations can be a tricky prospect due to an inconsistent naming structure. The C4-designated fourth-generation model issued wide-ranging changes to the earlier C3 by updating the design while retaining the chassis and suspension. It was also marked by the introduction of a new 2.8-litre V6 engine that could be paired with an optional Quattro all-wheel-drive system. Inside, the Audi 100 is appointed with premium features and appointments befitting of a luxurious sedan. Examples of the Audi 100 are thin on the used car market, especially versions with the V6 and Quattro combination. This car’s specification combines Tornado Red exterior paint with a black leather-upholstered interior.

The cabin is finished with woodgrain trim inserts around the door panels and dash. No aftermarket modifications have been made to this car; it is described as being completely original. It continues to ride on its set of 15-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Bridgestone/Goodyear tyres. Manufactured in Neckarsulm, Germany in 1992 and complied locally in Australia during May 1993, this Audi 100 has a traceable history with just three owners from new. It was delivered first to Sydney before being quickly relocated to Melbourne. It then passed onto the current owner in 2017. Since then, it has lived a sheltered life and was used only occasionally.

Various rectification works were undertaken over the last eight years including an ABS issue being solved and a new headlining install. The last full service was completed in by Ramz Car Sales and Service in March 2024. The exterior condition of this Audi is presented to a good standard. The original Tornado Red paint appears in fine order with no marks or scratching, and clear reflections can be seen in the light. The black bumpers display worse for wear due to light stone chips and a scratch (left side) at the front end. Scuff damage is also noted at the rear end (right side). The black plastics have generally weathered with age.

There is also a chip in the right tail-light. All four wheels display scuffs, chips, and kerb damage. Inside, this Audi appears in fair condition. The black leather seats have not sagged with age, though they display crease marks and discolouration on the leather. Subtle nicks in the leather are identified on the seat backs. There are some points of wear and tear noted around the centre console. The car’s headlining and carpeting appear in good order, while no damage is seen on the woodgrain inlays.

All accompanying documents and invoices will be supplied with this car. It will also come with an original pair of gloves for changing the wheels.
