This 1992 Nissan Skyline R32 Autech Version is a rare, limited-production performance sedan developed by Nissan’s specialist arm to showcase engineering capability beyond the standard Skyline range. Finished in factory JK0 silver and now manual converted, it shows 198,221 kilometres indicated and is powered by the Autech-tuned 2.6-litre naturally aspirated inline six paired with a manual transmission. Build number 161 of just 201 produced, it represents one of the most distinctive and collectible R32 variants.

Built by Autech Japan to celebrate Nissan’s motorsport engineering, the Autech Version was produced in a limited run of just 201 examples. Unlike the GT-R, the Autech Version was developed to showcase Nissan’s RB26 engine in naturally aspirated form with Autech focusing on balance, refinement and engineering purity rather than outright performance. Today, these cars are recognised as a unique special within the Skyline lineage. This example is build number 161 of 201.

This car is the first Australian-owned example and has been in Australia for approximately one year, having been sourced through Japanese auctions. Supporting import documentation is included.

The most recent service was carried out around 10,000 kilometres ago, with limited use since. Maintenance performed by the owner includes an oil and filter change, replacement spark plugs, a new battery and new DBA Street Performance brake pads. The alternator and power steering pump have also been replaced, and the brake rotors are described as near new. The timing belt, associated pulleys and water pump were replaced at 186,159 kilometres.

While original service books are not present, a Japanese service manual is included.

Mechanically, the car is reported to be in good order with no known engine-related faults. One minor issue to note is that the interior boot release does not currently unlatch the boot, although the key release functions correctly. The owner notes that the release cable moves, suggesting an adjustment is required at the latch.

The exterior presents well overall. The car has had a closed-door respray, and paintwork presents consistently across panels. Exterior trim and bodywork are in keeping with the age and mileage of the vehicle. Inside, the cabin presents tidily for a car of this era. The dashboard has a crack as shown in the photos, though there is no bubbling. The air vent plastics have been replaced with new factory items and the plastic door handles have also been replaced with new parts. Carpets, seats and controls present honestly and remain functional. A double-din Kenwood headunit with Apple CarPlay functionality is fitted.

The car is fitted with a Nismo factory option exhaust, which is accompanied by its certificate.

The vehicle is supplied with two keys, a Japanese service manual, import and export paperwork, a VASS engineering certificate, exhaust certificate & emissions reports.
