This 1985 BMW M635CSi is an E24-generation grand tourer finished in Zinnoberrot over a black leather interior. It is powered by a 3.5-litre M88/3 straight-six engine paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. The odometer displays an indicated 12,315 km, and the car presents in clean, driver-grade condition with tasteful upgrades and recent maintenance.

Originally delivered new to the United Kingdom, this example was imported into Australia in 2009. Since arriving locally, it has been maintained and updated with a number of practical enhancements, including an aftermarket set of 17-inch Simmons wheels, a front strut brace, and an Alpine stereo with a CD multichanger hidden in the glovebox. The car also comes with a Certificate of Authentication, a Vehicle Import Approval letter, two keys, a VCC Compliance Certificate, a spare wheel and its registration papers.

The M635CSi was BMW’s flagship performance coupe of the 1980s, offering near-M1 performance in a sleek and luxurious grand touring body. With a motorsport-derived engine, subtle design details, and strong mechanical pedigree, the E24 M635CSi continues to be sought after by collectors and enthusiasts alike.

Cosmetically, the car presents in driver-grade condition. The Zinnoberrot paintwork retains a glossy finish, though minor scratches are visible in line with its age. There is a slight orange peel effect developing on the bonnet and roof areas, and touch-up paintwork has been applied in the past. Inside, the black leather interior has received touch-up work and displays some wear, particularly on the seats. The bonnet struts are noted to be weak, and the air conditioning system is currently inoperative.

The seller believes the engine has been replaced in recent years, though supporting documentation is not available. Prior to being imported, the car's final UK MOT test in December 2008 recorded a mileage of 95,737 miles. Since arriving in Australia, it has been sparingly driven and maintained with attention to detail.

The most recent roadworthiness inspection was completed on 17 July 2024 and reportedly passed without issue. Recent maintenance includes a service by DSD Bathurst at approximately 11,000 km in July 2024, which included the replacement of the steering drag link. A new battery was also installed in 2025.
