This 1977 Chevrolet Corvette C3 is a striking T-top coupe powered by a 350ci V8 crate engine and paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Finished in dark red over a black interior, it has undergone extensive recent mechanical refurbishment and presents as a tidy, well-sorted example of one of America’s most recognisable sports cars. The odometer currently displays an indicated 1693 Miles*.

Under current ownership, a significant amount of work has been completed across the underbody and drivetrain. The engine bay houses a near-new 350ci crate motor fitted shortly before import, with less than 1,000 km of use. It is paired with a new radiator, new washer motor, and a quiet but purposeful exhaust system. The steering system has been completely refreshed, including a remanufactured steering box upgraded with bearings and a new steering balance valve.

The suspension has been overhauled with new bushes, shocks and bearings. The brakes and brake lines have also been replaced. The rear end has been fully rebuilt with new trailing arm bushes and body mounts, and the underside has been treated and painted for rust protection. The birdcage is reported to be rust-free, and the rear body mounts have been replaced. The car rides on new tyres and a new windscreen has also been fitted. The electrical system has been upgraded with compliant headlights and taillights and new Australian-spec seatbelts have been installed.

The black interior presents well for its age, with sound and heat insulation added beneath the carpet and only a few minor trim pieces yet to be sourced. A glass T-top upgrade has been fitted, allowing for open-air driving with the classic removable roof panels.

The paintwork, finished in a dark red hue, shows well overall but does have some minor bubbling and pitting visible on close inspection. With the majority of the mechanical work already completed, the car could benefit from further cosmetic attention if the next owner wishes to take it to the next level.

It comes with a folder of receipts documenting the work completed, full import paperwork including a Rover Import Approval letter and confirmation of a newly issued chassis number from VicRoads.
