This 1973 Chrysler Valiant Charger is an R/T tribute finished in a classic high-impact colour and powered by a mildly worked 265ci straight-six paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. It has been with its current owner for five and a half years and has travelled minimal mileage in recent years, primarily used for weekend cruising and car shows 46,670Km*.

The car was built as an R/T tribute by a previous owner, featuring signature styling, performance upgrades, and careful attention to detail. Since acquiring the vehicle in early 2019, the current owner has carried out a number of mechanical updates and improvements to maintain its condition and usability.

Under the bonnet is a 265ci inline-six with a mild cam, head work, and yellow Terra roller rockers, running on triple Weber carburettors that were recently serviced and kitted. The engine is paired with a Toyota five-speed manual gearbox, believed to be sourced from a Celica or Supra. Additional mechanical features include extractors, a dual exhaust system, front and rear sway bars, new shocks, and 1.5-inch lowering blocks.

The seller notes the car is in excellent running condition with no known mechanical faults or oil leaks. It has been regularly serviced, with the most recent maintenance including a tappet adjustment and fluid change. An electric vacuum-assisted brake setup has also been installed to improve braking performance.

The Charger presents well for its age and retains an older respray completed over 16 years ago, which has since been ceramic coated. The finish is described as very tidy, with some minor rust bubbling beginning to show in areas such as the front bonnet, interior door edges, and around the front and rear windows, though none of these are considered structural. The undercarriage is clean, and the seller believes the car has not been involved in any prior accident. The engine bay is painted and presents well.

Inside, the cabin is in excellent condition, with no rips or tears in the upholstery, and the carpet, headliner, and door trims described as well kept. The Charger rides on a set of original Jelly Bean wheels with good tyres, and includes a matching spare and factory jack.

The sale includes a number of spare parts, such as rear lights, indicators, a full power steering setup, and miscellaneous items collected by the owner over time. With thoughtful presentation, light modifications, and a clean mechanical bill of health, this tribute Charger offers a well-rounded mix of classic appeal and weekend usability.
