This 1970 Porsche 911 T Targa is a left hand drive example, finished in Signal Orange. Its rear-mounted, air-cooled flat-six engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels. The odometer currently shows 32,969 miles* indicated.

Porsche unveiled the Targa at the 1965 Frankfurt Motor Show, combining a removable roof panel with a fixed rollover bar. Named after the Targa Florio road race, the design offered open-air driving while retaining a distinctive roof structure. By 1970, the panoramic glass rear window had become an established feature of the model.

Finished in Signal Orange, identified by the seller as its original colour, this example features a black removable roof panel, stainless-steel Targa bar, polished five-spoke alloy wheels and chrome exterior detailing. The seller advises that some exterior trim has been upgraded to “S” specification. Inside, the car features black upholstery, reupholstered front seats, replacement carpets, a Porsche steering wheel and a five-dial instrument cluster.

The vehicle has been owned by the current seller for approximately 12 years and underwent a bare-metal body restoration approximately five years ago.

The seller describes the Porsche as an original California-delivered vehicle that retains its unconverted left-hand-drive configuration. They identify themselves as its fourth owner since importation from the United States, with earlier ownership history unknown. A comprehensive collection of receipts and other records accompanies the car, together with its original import paperwork and a certificate of authenticity.

The body restoration reportedly included stripping the car to bare metal, completing rust repairs, installing some replacement panels and repainting it in Signal Orange. The seller also advises that evidence of previous body damage was discovered and repaired during the restoration.

The seller reports very minor paint imperfections, minor scratches to the glass and alloy wheels in good condition. The radio is currently disconnected, although the seller advises that it works. Details of the most recent mechanical service and current mechanical condition have not been supplied.

Included with the sale are a tool kit, tyre pressure gauge, owner’s manual, receipts and other records, original import papers and a certificate of authenticity.
