This 1969 Triumph TR6 is a well documented example with a known Australian ownership history and extensive restoration records, including supporting photos and receipts. Power comes from a fuel injected 2.5 litre naturally aspirated inline six (110 kW/147 hp), backed by a four speed manual transmission with overdrive. The odometer displays 79,975 miles TMU.

Introduced in 1968, the TR6 was the final evolution of Triumph’s traditional body on frame sports car line, combining classic British roadster styling with improved refinement and usability. Featuring independent rear suspension and strong torque from its inline six engine, the TR6 remains one of the most popular and usable classic sports cars of its era, with strong enthusiast support and parts availability.

Finished in blue with a black interior, this example presents with a combination of restored factory features and period sympathetic upgrades. The seller advises the car is fitted with a Moto Lita wooden steering wheel, mohair soft top, powder coated steel wheels with chrome trims, and a Kenwood Bluetooth stereo with Pioneer speakers. Additional upgrades include SPAX adjustable rear shock absorbers, Bosch electric fuel pump, stainless steel extractors with twin exhaust, electronic ignition, upgraded fuse box, alloy rocker cover, and LED lighting enhancements throughout the cabin.

According to the seller, the vehicle was originally imported from California into Australia in 1995, where it was later fully restored by a subsequent owner. The current owner has retained the car since November 2015 and advises that comprehensive documentation accompanies the vehicle, including import paperwork, receipts, and a photographic record of the restoration. Servicing has been carried out by the owner alongside a Triumph specialist, with major works outsourced to professional workshops. Notable work includes repair and recalibration of the fuel injection metering unit in November 2016 and a gearbox refurbishment with ‘J’ type overdrive completed in December 2023.

The seller reports the vehicle presents in very good to excellent condition both externally and internally, with no accident history. They advise the car is regularly driven and maintained, with all systems functioning as intended. Minor imperfections are noted to the passenger seat, and the interior has been restored and upgraded while retaining its original character. Included in the sale are spare keys, a repair and operation manual, a spare original bootlid, full history documentation, tool kit, original Californian number plate, tonneau covers, and a custom car cover.
