This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS Sport Coupe is a comprehensively documented example assembled at the Van Nuys, Los Angeles facility in October 1967 and sold new on 9 November 1967 through Jack Wall Chevrolet Inc. of Pasadena, California. The car is powered by its original 350 cubic inch V8 (220kW/295hp), which has been fitted with an Edelbrock intake manifold and Edelbrock 1406 carburettor during restoration. The odometer displays 99,691 miles (TMU).

The first-generation Camaro arrived for the 1967 model year as Chevrolet's direct response to the Ford Mustang, and the SS package elevated it with a performance-tuned suspension, distinctive badging, and upgraded braking. The 1968 model brought subtle but meaningful refinements including side marker lights, revised front styling, and an expanded options list. Well-documented, restored first-generation SS examples are firmly established among the most collectible American muscle cars on the global market.

The car was originally finished in Ermine White and has been resprayed in Tuxedo Black during a rotisserie restoration carried out by a previous owner. The interior retains the original black houndstooth cloth and vinyl bucket seat trim (trim code 749), consistent with the Fisher Body cowl tag. Factory options confirmed by the validation documentation include power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, C60 air conditioning, and AM radio. The transmission is noted in the validation documentation as non-numbers-matching. BFGoodrich Radial T/A tyres are fitted.

The current owner is the third owner and has held the vehicle for approximately one year. The car was originally purchased and registered in California, with original California DMV registrations present. The validation documentation confirms the first owner as Elizabeth Hayward of Pasadena, California. Servicing during current ownership has been carried out by Defina Automotive Services. The seller advises the car is in excellent mechanical condition with no faults, and reports no accident history.

The seller reports the body and interior are both in near-perfect condition following the rotisserie restoration. The seller advises all mechanical systems are in good working order. Included with the sale are the original owner's manual, original manual pouch, Chevrolet Owner Protection Plan booklet, original California DMV registrations, original air pollution pamphlet, Chevrolet Protect-O-Plate, the rotisserie restoration validation documentation booklet with step-by-step photography, a car cover, spare wheel, original jack, and a spare key.
