This 1967 Chrysler Valiant VC Ute is a restored example that has remained with a single owner, who completed the restoration themselves. Finished in Forest Green and retaining its classic Australian utility charm, the car presents as a well-sorted and carefully rebuilt VC, with extensive mechanical work completed and receipts on file to support the restoration.

The VC has been owned and restored by the current custodian, a registered mechanic by trade, who undertook the work with a focus on reliability and correctness. The restoration included fitting a reconditioned 225ci Slant Six engine sourced from a VC Valiant sedan, which has since been compression tested. The automatic column-shift transmission was checked and inspected by a workshop, while the differential was disassembled and refilled with fresh fluid.

Servicing and maintenance have been carried out by the owner throughout their ownership. While original service books are not available, all receipts for the restoration and mechanical work are supplied. Major work includes a full brake overhaul with new drums and lines, a complete front-end rebuild including bushings, drag links, tie-rod links, and steering components, as well as new windscreen, rear window, and door rubbers. The lighting system has been gone through in full, with quartz halogen headlights and indicators checked to ensure correct operation.

Mechanically, the Valiant is reported to be in excellent order with no known faults, warning lights, or outstanding work required. It is described as ready to drive and enjoy.

Externally, the ute presents very well. The body has received a two-pack respray in Forest Green, a Subaru colour, and remains in very good condition. The floor has been replaced, with no rust present, and the overall presentation is clean and straight. The ute sits on 5.5-inch rims at the front and 6-inch rims at the rear, giving it a purposeful yet period-correct stance.

Inside, the cabin has been fully redone. The bench seat has been completely restored, new carpet fitted, and the tonneau cover renewed. The interior presents in tidy, refreshed condition and reflects the care taken during the restoration process.

Included with the sale is a workshop manual and a thoughtfully prepared spares box containing engine oil, fan belt, wheel brace, radiator fluid, and an additional spare wheel and tyre. The glovebox houses multiple sets of keys, including spares for the ignition, doors, and spare wheel compartment.
