This 1966 Ford Mustang GT350 Tribute is a restored fastback featuring a professional rotisserie restoration by Classic Speed Inc. and approximately 15 years with its current owner. Its naturally aspirated V8, understood to be a 4.7 litre (289 cubic-inch) unit, is paired with a T5 five-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels. The odometer currently indicates 1,192 miles* TMU.

The Mustang fastback joined Ford’s original Mustang range for the 1965 model year, providing the basis for Shelby American’s GT350. Shelby developed the model with changes to its engine, suspension and braking for road and competition use. This example adopts GT350 styling as a tribute, with its C-code identification recording an original 289 two-barrel V8 specification rather than a factory Shelby identity.

Finished in black with contrasting gold stripes and GT350 graphics, the Mustang features a bonnet scoop, bonnet pins, side scoops, rear quarter windows and five-spoke alloy wheels fitted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tyres. The cabin has been converted to right-hand drive and features red upholstery, matching carpets and door trims, a wood-rim steering wheel, a dashboard-mounted tachometer and an under-dash air-conditioning unit. The photographed build report lists a heavy-duty T5 transmission and Hurst gear lever. Further equipment includes front disc brakes, an MSD ignition unit, Shelby-branded engine covers and air cleaner, and engine-bay bracing. A Classic Speed identification plate accompanies the build, while a Queensland modification plate dated September 2011 records certification under code LO1.

The seller advises that they have owned the Mustang for approximately 15 years. The photographed paperwork includes an Arizona title and a 2009 shipping document recording its movement from Los Angeles to Classic Speed in the Philippines. Classic Speed’s material costing report covers work from September 2009 to July 2011, supporting the seller’s account of a comprehensive restoration into GT350 tribute form. An Australian invoice dated September 2011 records compliance inspection and registration arrangements. Maintenance has been undertaken by Smithfield Car Diagnostics, with the latest service completed on 29 September 2026. That invoice records an engine oil and filter change, general safety checks, drive-belt and handbrake adjustments, and replacement of a brake-light globe with repairs to its holder connection.

The seller describes the exterior and interior as being in good condition and discloses a crack in the plastic trim around the rear seat. The latest service report notes weeping from the differential pinion seal and axle seals, together with right-hand extractor contact near the starter motor and engine mount. It also identifies a faulty temperature gauge, while recording that the cooling system was checked and found to operate correctly. These findings are disclosed in the supplied service notes.

Included with the sale are the service receipts and an owner’s manual.
