This 1964 Holden EH Panel Van is a genuine windowless example that has been with its current owner since 1995. It is powered by a rebuilt 5.0 litre naturally aspirated V8 paired with a T5 five speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels through a shortened Commodore differential housing with a limited slip differential. The odometer currently displays 16,180 km* TMU.

The EH Holden range was introduced in August 1963 and included the panel van alongside sedan, station sedan and utility body styles. The EH introduced revised styling over the preceding EJ and was offered with Holden's 149 and 179 cubic inch inline six cylinder engines, while commercial variants retained a heavier rear leaf spring arrangement. A total of 256,959 EH series Holdens were produced across all body styles, with the panel van forming an important part of Holden's commercial vehicle range during the period.

Finished in dark mocha brown, this example has been extensively modified from its original configuration and underwent a full bare-metal restoration from top to bottom. The rebuilt 5.0 litre V8 was sourced from a VN Commodore and features roller rockers and a mild camshaft, while the drivetrain incorporates the T5 gearbox and limited slip differential. Further changes include larger Commodore brakes and disc rotors, a Commodore handbrake arrangement, modified firewall, transmission tunnel and crossmember, an EH front end adapted with Commodore rack and pinion steering, a modified steering column and an exhaust system that merges into a single three inch outlet at the right rear. The body has also been mini tubbed, while the roof gutter was removed apart from the sections above the front doors and the front doors were converted to full piece glass. Inside are front bucket seats, a rear seat and an extended dashboard.

The seller purchased the vehicle in 1995 from Blackheath in the Blue Mountains, having been advised that it had spent approximately 15 years in storage before their acquisition. The build developed during the current ownership, with the body ultimately painted in 1999. The seller advises that an engineer's report was obtained for the modifications, although the wheels currently fitted were installed in 2010 and are not the wheels covered by that report. The previously engineered wheels have been retained. According to the seller, the van also achieved a Top 10 result at Summernats in 2000 and was named Grand Champion at Supernats.

The seller describes the paintwork and interior as presenting in very good overall condition. Small stone chips are noted around the rear dog leg areas, together with a small dent to the right front section of the roof. The seller advises that the vehicle has generally been stored undercover during the current ownership.

Included with the vehicle are the wheels previously fitted when the vehicle was engineered.
