This 1941 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible is a restored pre-war, Art Deco–era American luxury convertible finished in cream over brown leather. It is powered by Cadillac’s 346 cubic inch flathead V8 paired with a four-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission driving the rear wheels, and the odometer displays 9,779 miles indicated.

The 1941 Series 62 represented one of the final and most refined expressions of Cadillac’s pre-war design, combining sweeping Art Deco–inspired styling with advanced engineering for the period. Independent front suspension and early adoption of automatic transmission technology placed Cadillac at the forefront of American luxury motoring, and the Convertible remains one of the most desirable body styles of the range.

The vehicle is understood to have had two owners in Australia. The current custodian has held the car for eight years, during which time it was notably associated with ABC radio appearances over a six-year period.

Servicing has been carried out by Capalaba Reliable Auto Care and Exhaust. A full transmission rebuild was completed to rectify previous leaks and ensure correct operation. The car is supplied with its original handbook, original glovebox manual and a period publication relating to Cadillacs of the era. Mechanically, the vehicle is described as driving well. The original vacuum-operated windscreen wipers are temperamental, which is characteristic of the model, and an original repair kit is included.

The restoration completed under prior ownership included the engine, trim and paintwork, returned to its period-correct cream combination. The car presents in restored condition as reflected in the photography.
