This 2007 Shelby Cobra Replica is a round tube chassis example built by George Vidovic of GV Automotive, South Melbourne, and powered by a professionally built small block Ford Windsor Dart block stroked to 358 cubic inches (5.87 litres), producing 475hp (354kW) and 450ft-lbs of torque on the dyno. Drive is taken through a Tremec TKO 500 five-speed manual gearbox. The odometer reads 6,284 kilometres.

The GV Automotive Python SC is one of the more serious Cobra replicas produced in Australia, built on a round tube chassis to a specification that prioritises dynamic integrity over cosmetic imitation. George Vidovic's background in motorsport engineering is evident throughout the car's construction, with the Python SC designed from the outset to accommodate high-output American V8 powerplants, proper double wishbone front suspension geometry, and a Jaguar independent rear end capable of handling significant power. Examples built to this standard occupy a distinct position in the Australian kit and replica market, offering genuine performance credentials rather than the cruiser specification of many contemporaries.

The car is finished in silver with black stripes over a black leather interior. The dashboard carries a full complement of auxiliary gauges. The Shelby wood-rim steering wheel and carbon fibre centre console are fitted throughout. The car rides on 17-inch Vintage Wheels USA alloys with satin black centres, 235-section front and 255-section rear tyres. Side pipes with high-flow catalytic converters are fitted.

The engine was professionally built by Ash Campbell of Tickford Racing in Campbellfield, Victoria, to a specification documented on a Ford Performance Racing Engine Department sheet. The Dart block carries Mahle pistons, Scat crankshaft and conrods, a Comp Cams camshaft, and a Victor Air Gap inlet manifold, with fuel delivery via Holley Dominator EFI. Compression ratio is 10.85:1. The Jaguar IRS differential was built by Darren Jones at Tickford Racing and features a Detroit Soft Locker at a 3:54 ratio. Suspension is via QA1 coilovers on all corners with double wishbone geometry front and Jaguar IRS rear, with Teflon rod ends throughout. Braking is by six-piston Brembo calipers with 328x32mm floating rotors front and four-piston Brembo calipers with 315x28mm floating rotors rear, all cross-drilled and slotted, with outboard rear disc mounting. The car has been serviced by Savy Motorsport and a comprehensive folder of build documentation, parts invoices, and receipts accompanies the vehicle.

The seller advises the car is in excellent mechanical condition. The silver paintwork and black leather interior are reported to present well.

This Shelby Cobra Replica will be sold with a comprehensive folder of build documentation, parts invoices, and receipts.
