This 1967 Lancia Fulvia Rallye is a UK-supplied vehicle that has undergone a no-expense-spared restoration less than 10 years ago. Under its bonnet sits a naturally-aspirated 1.3-litre four-cylinder engine which outputs 65kW (92hp) to the front wheels. The transmission in this car is a four-speed manual transmission. Its odometer currently displays 6,576 miles. When the Lancia Fulvia Berlina (sedan) was first introduced at the 1963 Geneva Motor Show it earned acclaim for its practicality and simple design characteristics. The Fulvia Coupe wouldn’t be seen for another two years, but once it arrived it made waves for completely different reasons.

Instead of offering economical and comfortable transport with four doors, the Fulvia Coupe was sporty, featured a bored-out engine stroke, and sat on a 170mm-shorter wheelbase than the sedan. This was a sports car through and through, and the addition of the 1.3-litre engine in 1967 underscored that fact. Its dynamic ability was quickly noticed by the HF rally team founder and the model was immediately involved in rally races throughout Europe. The Fulvia Coupe was issued a series of updates with more power throughout its life, but all variants are appreciated for their historic motorsport success. Painted in red on the exterior with select HF-inspired upgrades, this Lancia Fulvia Rallye is certain to turn heads.

Its cream-upholstered cabin is highlighted by woodgrain trim inside, while the exterior shows chrome detailing befitting of its era. It has received a series of upgrades including lightweight alloy doors, bonnet, and boot, while rally-inspired stickers are seen on its fenders. The car rides on a set of 13-inch Lancia alloy wheels wrapped in Nankang tyres. Built new by Lancia in Italy, this Fulvia Coupe was delivered to its first owner, British motorsport’s John Briggs, in 1967. It then passed to an Australian expat who drove the car around Europe before importing it Down Under in the 1990s. In 2016 it was bought by a Lancia enthusiast who undertook a significant restoration over the following six years.

This included rust removals, a full respray, reupholstered interior, and mechanical enhancements. This work was performed by Italian specialists and used parts from Pieces Fulvia, Rossocorsa, Caballito, and Italian Auto Parts. In the past month the vehicle has received a gearbox and clutch rebuild. The car has won awards at the annual Alfa club ‘Spettacolo’. In terms of this Fulvia’s exterior presentation, the car is finished to a very high standard. The red paintwork glistens beautifully in sunlight and no imperfections are seen on panels.

Silver detailing around the grille, mirrors, and windscreen is polished to a shine. Gold pinstriping shows in good condition alongside the car’s profile. All four wheels show without kerb rash. This car’s interior has been refurbished and presents in brilliant condition. The cream seats hold a good shape without sagging, while woodgrain trim inlays are unmarked of damage. No stains or scuffs are seen on seat fabric or carpeting and its cream headlining shows no marks.
