2020 BMW (F92) M8 Competition
This 2020 BMW M8 Competition Coupe is a flagship BMW product combining the ultimate in luxury and performance. Under the bonnet is a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine which produces 460kW/750Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed M-Steptronic transmission with paddle shifters. BMW claims the M8 Competition will run from zero to 100km/h in 3.2 seconds. This example currently shows 12,835km since new.
BMW revived the 8 Series nameplate by first developing the 2018 M8 GTE race car. The road car then followed, replacing the 6 Series model line as the ultimate luxury tourer from the German marque. This is the fastest BMW to ever come out of a series production factory. Not only is it the quickest, it’s also one of the most luxurious. The two-door Grand Tourer body is packed with technology and convenience features, in addition to rich leather upholstery and unique design features.
This car wears Brands Hatch Grey metallic paint over a black and beige leather interior. The stunning subdued specification also features 20-inch M lightweight alloy wheels painted in black with silver highlights as well as blue brake calipers. The BMW M8 is extremely well specified from factory including 16-speaker Bowers and Wilkins sound system, soft-close doors, heated and ventilated memory seats, night vision camera and adaptive sports damping.
Built in late 2019 and delivered brand new through BMW Melbourne, this MY20 BMW M8 Competition has undergone one service at BMW Melbourne which was completed last November. Its current and sole owner has taken very good care of the car since new. This M8 Competition has been chip-tuned by Evolve Technik which opens up an extra 48kW/120Nm taking it to 508kw / 870nm, this comes with the balance of a three-year Evolve Plus warranty.
Its limited use is reflected in this car’s condition which presents immaculately. There are no marks or scratches on the exterior bodywork and the metallic Brands Hatch Grey paintwork shines flawlessly, changing colour depending on which angle it’s viewed from. The black accenting around the grille, mirrors and on the rear diffuser all presents without damage, while the carbon fibre roof panel shines like new. There are no scratches on any of this car’s four alloy wheels and the Pirelli P Zero tyres retain a great amount of tread.
Inside, the Merino leather upholstery retains original colour and shape. There are next to no signs of use on the car’s trim nor is there degradation to the leather multifunction steering wheel. The two 10.25-inch displays on the dash work as normal and there are no warning lights or error codes showing on the instrument cluster. All electric appointments work as they should and the rear seats look as if they’ve never been used.
This BMW M8 Competition will be sold complete with its full documented service history as well as all accompanying documentation and manuals. It is a pristine condition example of a very capable performance Grand Tourer.
