2018 Range Rover Sport SVR
This 2018 Range Rover Sport SVR is an unassuming super SUV that presents smartly in classic black and white stormtrooper specification. The dominant feature of the SVR is the 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine that sends 423kW/700Nm to all four wheels through an eight-speed ZF transmission. It completes the zero to 100km/h sprint in under 4.5 seconds and runs on to a 280km/h limited top speed. This facelift example has 40,292km showing on the odometer.
It was an inevitability that Jaguar Land Rover would eventually drop the F-Type’s V8 engine into an SUV model, but the Land Rover Sport SVR’s debut still managed to take the world by storm at its 2014 Pebble Beach reveal. Only now, this SVR will be one of the last-ever cars in which Land Rover will put its signature supercharged V8 engine into, after the company announced its EV plans for later this decade. If that’s not special enough, the SVR also sports a number of aesthetic and performance improvements including revised sports body kit, bespoke SVR interior and an adaptive exhaust and damper system.
Painted in Fuji White on the exterior with contrasting black roof, this SVR features an understated black/white combination both inside and out. Its SVR-embossed sports seats are upholstered in black leather, and other options include a sliding panoramic sunroof, Meridian sound system, tow hitch receiver, Drive Pro pack, 22-inch black alloy wheels with summer tyres and privacy glass rear windows.
This car was built in September 2018 and complied in November 2018. It was then subsequently delivered new to its first and only owner at the beginning of 2019 at Doncaster Land Rover. All servicing has been completed at Doncaster Land Rover; its last service was in November 2020.
Condition-wise this SVR presents well, only marred by a few small stone chips on the front bumper. Most of these are difficult to see and are in-line with the car’s mileage. There is one stone chip on the driver’s side front wheel; the remaining wheels are unmarked. The Continental ContiSportContact tyres are also in good condition with a good amount of tread left.
The interior has been kept in excellent condition with relatively few marks on the black leather upholstery or aluminium trim. There are some small stress marks on the driver’s seat bolstering, though the remaining seats show minimal signs of wear. The carpeted boot is unmarked.
This SVR has a full service history with Doncaster Land Rover which will be supplied with the sale. It has just under one year left of its factory warranty, which can be transferred to its next owner. All ownership booklets and supplied materials will come with the car. It also has a space saver spare wheel.
