2016 BMW (F82) M4
This 2016 BMW M4 (F82) is a Australian-delivered, two-owner example showing in a tidy colour combination with low mileage since new. It is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre inline-six-cylinder engine which outputs 317kW/550Nm to the rear wheels. The engine is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox in this car. The odometer currently shows 16,756km since new.
Born from the storied M3 lineage which started back with the E30 M3, the F82 M4 branched off in 2014 to create a new nomenclature for coupe-based high-performance BMWs. A new turbocharged straight-six engine also made its debut with the F82 M4, with more power and more available torque than ever before. Among myriad changes between the E92 M3 and F82 M4, the M4 stayed true by keeping important technical aspects such as a carbon-fibre roof and dual-clutch transmission. BMW M cars have always been known to skilfully straddle the line between everyday usability and precise performance, with the M4 blending a suite of useful tech and a chassis which is both playful and comfortable.
This M4’s clean specification features Alpine White exterior paintwork over red leather upholstery and black leather accenting for the dash and door cards. No aftermarket modifications are listed alongside this car, though it does specify an M Performance front diffuser and black kidney grilles from new. It also wears a carbon-fibre lip spoiler on the rear. The car currently rides on a set of original 19-inch M Light black alloy wheels with blue brake calipers underneath. Tyres are Continental ContiSport Contacts.
Built new in Germany in early 2016 and complied in Australia in April 2016, this M4 was delivered new to its first owner through Waverley BMW in VIC. It is now a two-owner example which the current owner purchased in 2017. Since then it has been regularly maintained through BMW service centres. The seller states the vehicle has had no mechanical issues nor has it ever been in an accident and as part of a large private collection it is rarely driven.
Exterior condition is best described as excellent, considering the car has only travelled a short 16,000km since new. The Alpine White paintwork displays beautifully and shows next to no swirl marks or marking on the duco. There is one small mark on the paint below the right-side door handle. All other exterior trim and componentry, such as the carbon splitter and carbon roof, displays in good condition without damage. No signs of curb rash are seen on any of the four wheels and the Continental tyres still retain a good level of tread depth.
Interior condition is similarly excellent, with minimal signs of wear and tear detected throughout the cabin. The red leather upholstery is uncreased and retains its original shape, while leather covering the dash and door cards is tight and unmarked. Carpeting and headliner both display in good order. The car’s infotainment system and instrumentation functions as normal.
All accompanying documentation and two keys will be supplied with this vehicle.
