2015 Land Rover Defender 110
This 2015 Land Rover Defender 110 is an Australian-delivered, one-owner example of one of the last Defenders of its kind. It is powered by a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder engine outputting 90kW/360Nm to all wheels through a constant four-wheel-drive system. This car is fitted with a six-speed manual transmission. It currently displays 47,337km on its odometer since new.
One of the best-selling off-road vehicles of all time, the Land Rover Defender is a serious bit of off-road kit known for its go-anywhere ability and steadfast reliability. More than two million examples were produced over a 67-year production run, with the original model finally ending production in Solihull, England in early 2016. Enthusiasts adore its technical simplicity and boxy looks, though these were the reasons for its demise because it would have fallen afoul of strict new safety standards. With that said, the Defender has a reputation for its strong chassis, short overhangs, huge axle clearance and long suspension travel. It is unashamedly basic both inside and out, but this allows it to aim singularly at an off-road focus which it excels in.
This example wears a smart “Stormtrooper” specification that sees white paintwork paired black accenting on the exterior. This includes a black roof, black overfenders, black grilles and black chequer plates on the bonnet. Inside, the interior is fitted with black upholstery and wash-out flooring. It is the 110 model which designates a four-door example with the long wheelbase. Fitted to the vehicle is a set of original 16-inch Land Rover black alloy wheels wrapped in Continental CrossContact tyres.
As one of the final-build original Defenders, this example was built in Solihull, England in late 2014 and was delivered new in early 2015. The current owner purchased the vehicle new through ULR Malvern in February 2015 and has had every service completed by that dealership. It has had a major service every 20,000km and is due for another, which will be completed just prior to the car’s sale.
Exterior-wise this car presents in great condition as evidenced through photos. The white paintwork displays in fine order throughout with no overt scratches or damage to be seen. The seller notes one small dent on the front passenger-side guard above the bumper bar. There is minimal weathering seen on the car’s black trim work and no obvious signs of off-road damage is observed. All four wheels display no sign of curb rash though some original wheel nuts are missing their covers. Tyres display a decent amount of tread remaining.
The cabin shows in cared-for condition throughout. The seats retain a good shape and no signs of rips or stains are seen, while the wash-out flooring shows a normal level of wear and tear commensurate with the vehicle’s age and mileage. No signs of damage or obvious scratching are seen on the instrument panels or dash and the door cards display minimal scuffing.
All accompanying documentation including original manuals, service booklets, and service invoices will be supplied with this car.
