This 2015 Audi RS5 Coupe (8T) is a late-run example which benefits from subtle red highlights and low mileage. Under the bonnet is a naturally-aspirated 4.2-litre V8 engine which outputs 331kW/430Nm to a Quattro all-wheel-drive system. The powertrain is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Audi’s Quattro system first made its debut on the Ur-Quattro in 1980, with the technology constantly evolving in the Audi Sport range of all-wheel drive performance cars. The latest 6th generation torque vectoring system premiered with the 2010 RS5, enabling unshakeable grip and tactile handling. Audi’s RS5 is defined by a motorsport-developed, hand built 4.2-litre naturally-aspirated V8 engine which powers the car from zero to 100km/h in 4.5 seconds. It can also double as a luxury tourer, with high-end materials and supreme comfort for long distance driving. While the RS5 is still on sale today in its second generation powered by a turbocharged V6, the first RS5 (Type 8T) will always be desirable for its sonorous naturally-aspirated V8. This car selects a black-on-black specification with Panther Mica black exterior paint and black Nappa leather interior. There are elements both on the inside and outside which have been highlighted in red, such as the wheels and graphics on the outside, and the quilted contrast stitching inside. The car features a Black Optic Plus package which blacks-out the grille and options a carbon fibre engine covering. Optional equipment fitted to this car includes heated front seats, panoramic sunroof, Driver Assist package with adaptive cruise control, and adaptive steering. The car rides on a set of black 20-inch turbine-style wheels with red highlights and red brake calipers. Pirelli P Zero tyres are currently in use.

Manufactured through 2015 and delivered new to Audi Centre Doncaster, this RS5 is now a three-owner car. The current owner has held the car since early 2020 where it was relocated to Tasmania. Its service history is documented through Audi Centre Doncaster, Zagame Audi, and Audi Centre Hobart. The latter dealership completed recent service maintenance in September 2022. There are no outstanding issues.

Exterior condition has benefitted from frequent detailing and polishing. The black paintwork displays in great condition throughout, with true reflections and minimal signs of imperfection. The only points noted are some stone chips on the bonnet. No accident damage is known or evident, though the rear bumper was recently replaced back to Audi specification due to minor parking scuffing. Some minor kerb rash was professionally repaired on two wheels, while the other two wheels appear undamaged. Tyres appear to retain a deep level of tread.

Inside the cabin this RS5 presents in very clean condition. The leather seats display without obvious wear and tear, while carpeting and floor mats appear to be undamaged. Minor creasing is seen on seat bolsters and a small scuff is seen on the driver’s seat back, though these don’t take away from the otherwise immaculate presentation. All infotainment and switchgear functions as intended.
