THE AUCTION IS UNDER PROXY BIDDING
2013 Audi (B8) RS4 Avant
This 2013 Audi RS4 Avant (B8) features the last naturally-aspirated V8 from Audi ever, and boasts a tidy specification with relative low mileage. Under the bonnet is a non-turbocharged 4.2-litre V8 engine which sends 331kW/430Nm to all four wheels. The only gearbox available on the B8 RS4 is a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The odometer of this car currently shows 61,513km.
Arguably one of the first cool wagons, the Audi RS4 is synonymous with performance, practicality, and technology. After being introduced following the success of the Audi RS2 wagon in the 1990s, the Audi RS4 has gone on to spawn four successive generations. Despite being available in sedan and convertible body styles for a time, the RS4 is most commonly seen in wagon shape, where rivals like the BMW M3 and Mercedes-AMG C63 are traditionally offered in more conventional styles. Also unique for Audi is the all-wheel (AWD) Quattro drivetrain which sends all power to all wheels. Though its competition is now embracing AWD, Audi was the first performance car maker to employ AWD en masse. The B8 RS4 is special for its naturally-aspirated V8 engine which will never be seen again inside an Audi sports car.
Presenting in Daytona Grey pearl paint on the outside, this RS4 pairs a black leather interior for a subdued and clean colour combination. Being an RS Audi, the side mirrors of this RS4 are painted silver along with the RS theme, while carbon-fibre inlays are seen highlighting the interior. There are no aftermarket modifications to this RS4. It selects the upgraded optional RS bucket seats, heated front seats, and Bang and Olufsen sound system. The car rides on a set of original 20-inch Rotor-design RS wheels wrapped in Kumho tyres.
Manufactured in Ingoldstadt, Germany in January 2013 and subsequently shipped to Australia in April 2013, this Audi RS4 was delivered by Audi Centre Sydney. It is now a two-owner car with the current owner having purchased the vehicle two years ago. Most servicing has been completed through Audi Centre Sydney, apart from the last service which was done in September 2021.
The exterior presentation of this RS4 has fared well over the last nine years and 61,513km. The Daytona Grey paintwork shows cleanly without obvious marring or damage while retaining a satisfying glean in the light. The seller notes some minor scratch damage to the bonnet, while some scratches to the underside of the front bumper can be seen. All four wheels have curb rash damage, while one has more significant scratching. All tyres show with a great amount of tread, having been replaced late last year.
Inside the cabin of this RS4 there appears to be minimal signs of wear and tear. The black leather seating shows without staining nor deformation and the seats retain their shape well. No obvious points of scuffing or wear are seen on trim pieces or instrumentation, which is usually common on period Audis. A rubber mat protects the boot from too much scratch damage, though this boot has obviously been used.
All manuals and documentation will be supplied, as will two sets of keys.
