2012 Porsche Panamera
This 2012 Porsche Panamera is a fully-documented, Australian-delivered example of Porsche’s first-generation Panamera which benefits of still being under factory warranty. It is powered by a naturally-aspirated 3.6-litre V6 engine which produces 221kW/400Nm. This power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed PDK gearbox. The odometer of this car currently displays 111,368km.
By the turn of the new millennium Porsche found itself achieving considerable success by diversifying its range of vehicles. The expansion of the Porsche range to include the Boxster and Cayman sports car twins was a masterstroke, while the addition of the Cayenne SUV was a game changer. It was in 2009 where Porsche introduced its four-seat, four-door, full-size Panamera sedan which mimicked the svelte looks of the 911 and had the pace to compete convincingly as a grand tourer. But where the 911 prioritises a sporty nature inside the cabin, the Panamera is finished with luxurious elements for all four occupants. This quickly earned it the reputation as an executive express. In today’s age the Panamera continues to offer an equal-parts luxurious and sporty driving experience, at a greatly-reduced price-point compared to when new.
This example is painted metallic silver over a black leather interior – a combination which is sure to find wide appeal. There are no aftermarket modifications listed alongside the car and it continues to sport its original colour combination. It features a list of options which include adaptive air suspension, Sport Chrono Package Plus, Porsche Dynamic Lighting System, Extended Trim leather package, Bose Premium sound system, brushed aluminium inlays, power-assisted tailgate, sunroof, and premium electric front seats. The car rides on a set of 20-inch 911 Turbo wheels which come wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tyres.
Built new in Germany, this Porsche Panamera was delivered new to Australia and has spent time between Melbourne and Adelaide. All servicing has been completed by official Porsche outlets and the car continues to be covered by an extended warranty which expires in April 2023 with the ability to still be extended again, until 2027, as long as its still within the warranty period. Recent servicing was completed by Porsche Centre Brighton last month where a front shock was replaced.
The exterior presentation of this Porsche Panamera shows in great condition. The silver metallic paintwork contains no obvious marks or fade, while the car does not exhibit any major accident damage. The seller does note a sizeable crack in the front bumper on the right-hand side and there is some scrape damage under the bumper. There are also some stone chips from highway driving. Wheels show some evident kerb rash damage around the outer rim. Two new tyres have been recently fitted.
Inside the cabin this Panamera displays in well-kept order for its age. There are no obvious marks or scuffs seen on the leather upholstery and only minimal stress marks are seen in the fabric too. All four seats retain their original shape without sag or deformation. Carpeting is clean of stains throughout and doors appear to be in good order without scuff damage. The owner notes some small dents in the polished aluminium trim.
The car will be sold with the standard tool kit, full books, and all remaining service receipts.
