2010 Maserati Granturismo S

This 2010 Maserati GranTurismo S is an elegant grand tourer which shows no modification since new and lists just two previous owners. It is powered by a naturally-aspirated 4.7-litre V8 engine which produces 324kW (434hp). This power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission. The odometer currently shows 85,964km.

The Maserati GranTurismo is one of the Italian brand’s longest-running nameplates and is arguably one of its most jaw-droppingly beautiful. The Pininfarina design was unveiled at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show to widespread acclaim and it was powered by a Ferrari/Maserati-developed V8 engine. With a thunderous V8 soundtrack and head-turning styling it instantly won fans worldwide. Interestingly though, the GranTurismo set a record for the quickest car to be developed, going from design to production stages in just nine months. The car would go on to be manufactured by Maserati for a further 12 years until the model line was discontinued in 2019. Throughout that time the model was updated with a series of special editions and model-year tweaks, though this S example represents a great entry point into one of the brand’s most iconic nameplates.

Painted in black metallic and with a black leather interior, this GranTurismo’s subdued colour combination matches its sleek looks. There are no aftermarket modifications made to the car and it wears its original colour specification. The black leather interior is highlighted by red contrast stitching. It rides on a set of 20-inch Trident wheels which come wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tyres.

This Maserati was built new in Italy and delivered new through Maserati Melbourne in 2010. It is now a two-owner car which has always been regularly serviced by Maserati Melbourne, with the most recent service carried out by an independent specialist in May 2022 that attended to regular service items. The car does show a warning light for the tyre pressure monitor, though this fault will be rectified before auction close.

The exterior condition shows in great order throughout.  The car does exhibit a few marks in places such as atop the rear bumper and on the passenger-side front quarter panel. The underside of the front bumper shows scrape damage consistent with use and the front end has stone chips. Wheels do display some kerb rash damage, while a decent amount of tread remains on the tyres.

Inside the cabin this Maserati shows fair wear and tear for its age. The leather seats have escaped obvious stress marks and show no stains or tears. Repeated use marks are seen on the driver’s door card, shift paddles, and gear selector. No stains are seen on the cabin carpeting though some marks are identified inside the boot. The dash and headlining both appear in great order.

This car will come with a suite of original documentation and service booklets, plus two keys.
