2007 Chevrolet (C6) Corvette
This 2007 Chevrolet Corvette (C6) is a right-hand-drive converted American classic, ready to own and enjoy. It is powered by a 6.0-litre naturally-aspirated LS2 V8 engine which sends 300kW/542Nm to the rear wheels. This car is fitted with a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and can run from zero to 100km/h in 4.5 seconds. The odometer shows 11,057km.
The sixth-generation Chevrolet Corvette was unveiled in America at the 2004 Detroit auto show. More fine-tuned evolution than revolution, the C6 shape was the first to bring back fixed headlights since the original and featured an all-new larger 6.0-litre V8 engine as compared to the C5 Corvette. It also improved in-car space, stocked better driver technology, improved handling and ride control and was more refined than its predecessor. All C6 Corvette hardtop coupes feature a removable roof that stows under the rear glass for a targa-style experience.
On this example, Victory Red exterior paint pairs with a black leather interior to form a classic Corvette colour combination. It rides on a set of silver 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres. Corvette-branded grey brake callipers hide underneath the four wheels. This car features a push-start ignition system to turn the car on.
This car rolled off the Corvette production line in Bowling Green, Kentucky, USA in March 2007 and was delivered new to Arizona, USA. It was then imported to Australia by Northern Motor Group later that year and was subsequently converted to right-hand-drive by Performax International in Queensland. It was then bought by its Melbourne-based current owner in 2008, who has cared for it since.
Exterior condition is described as excellent. The Victory Red paint is reflective and features no known nicks, marks or scratches and the famous Corvette flag badge sits proudly on the front and rear of the car. All four wheels are in unmarked condition with no scrapes or dings, while the Goodyear tyres are in great condition too.
The interior shows more general-use wear and tear than the exterior. Leather on the seat bolstering is slightly worn, however this is normal for Corvettes. The rest of the interior is in clean, unmarked condition with shining trim pieces and alloy foot pedals. Dual-zone climate control functions perfectly, as does the Corvette instrument cluster that shows no warning signs or errors. This car features Corvette Grand Sport mats which are in good condition.
